Title: Project Management Sr Spec with testing experience Location: Bloomfield, CT Expected Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: Market Ref ID: 11-02095 Must work as a W2 hourly contractor - sorry, no agency candidates can be considered. Duties Responsible for managing, directing and planning the testing for one, but occasionally more than one, complex project. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning testing tasks, maintaining working relationships with cross functional areas outside of TCC. Applies project development methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status. May manage and direct one or more project teams to meet complex project objectives. Reviews, evaluates and formulates project test plans and schedules. Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project testing objectives. Organizes and guides project test staff through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry. Evaluates progress and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects. Modifies schedules as required. Works with ASG's to coordinate systems testing. General supervision, but able to function independently. Skills Strong analytical, communication, technical teamwork and interpersonal skills. Able to foster working relationships with the TCC tea, project team and ASG's. Strong testing background required. Education / Experience Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least six, typically eight or more years related experience as a project test team member of which at least two year have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
