Compensation:$100K - $129K / Year
Minimum Education: Bachelors
Job Type: Full Time
Jobcode: TBAJA3
Qualifications:
At least a 4 year college degree in computer science or related field.
At least 10 years of experience in working with various database engines including SQL Server & Oracle.
Strong database design concepts. Use of ERWIN required for modeling
Experience implementing Database clustering, mirroring and data replication
Experienced in installing and maintaining both relational and dimensional datawarehouse.
Working knowledge of Informatica tool & Cognos is a plus.
Knowledge of ACORD XML messages is a plus.
Experience working in P & C companies is desirable.
Responsibilities:
Database administration including fine-tuning and backup-restore.
Both Logical & Physical database design
Review and fine-tune SQL code
Review query plans to assess performance and fine-tune tables & queries as necessary.
Participate in solution data architecture and impact analysis
Monitor Production databases to ensure high-availability and performance that meets Business expectation.
Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned.
Regular and reliable attendance.
