Job Description A Public Utility firm located in Newark, New Jersey is looking for a Service Management Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Must design, develop and enhance reports to support of critical IT functions (e.g. Service Level Managment, Balanced Scorecard reporting etc.).
Administer the Service Level Management (SLA) module of IT's Service Management System's (e.g. Remedy/"Service-Now).
Must also be responsible for the following:
Reporting – Service-Now Adminstration – SLA Contracts etc.
Skills Required Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
At least 4 years experience using or administering a Service Management System, e.g. Remedy, Service-Now, etc.
Demonstrated experience developing databases in MS Access (SQL).
Demonstrated experience soliciting reporting requirements from end users and defining reporting requirements and goals.
Excellent Excel skills, including the use of charts, tables and statistical functions.
Demonstrated experience using Crystal Syntex Report to create standard and ad hoc reports for management.
Above average analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to learn complex concepts quickly.
Good oral and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively with management, peers and clients.
Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience.
Experience in Business Objects.
Salary Range This is a temporary position which will pay up to $50 W-2 only.
