Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review and filing of all annual reports for US entities
· Preparation and filing franchise tax returns
· Preparation and filing of all estimated tax payments
· Review of tax information for completion of federal and state tax returns
· Completion of fixed asset deprecation for submission to our vendor for filing of annual income tax returns and for year end financials
· Completion of payroll, property, and sales apportionment schedules for submission to our vendor for completion of the many state income tax filings
· Prepare account reconciliation of federal and state income tax accrual accounts
· Draft responses for various tax notices
· Provide assistance
on income and sales and use tax audits
· Liaise with other departments and companies as required
Position Requirements:
· Understands taxation principles and practices
· Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices
· Detailed knowledge of FAS 109
· Knowledge of internal control documentation requirements for tax processes under Sarbanes-Oxley
· Accounting Degree
· CPA
· 4-6 years of tax experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Experience with fixed asset management system
