Major financial organization is seeking several Data Analysts with Financial industry experience (a MUST)for long term consulting opportunity. Project initiative is to create a simplied information platform across the cross- functional business areas involving multiple uesers and enable a collborative end to end work flow to support a fairly complex life cycle.
Data Analyst consultants are responsible for tasks including: proper assessment the data cleanup issues and mitigation strategies based on thorough understanding of the financial/ratings business, transactional and workflow data; support the data modeling team in implementing changes to the data model; develop mapping of the data elements from legacy to the new database structures. Work with the Migration team to develop the migration mappings from Sybase (legacy data model) to DB2 (new data model) based on ETL infrastructure for real-time and batch data transformations leveraging XML for data transformations.
Experience with a large, functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high quality applications required for all candidates
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 4 to 6 years of minimum experience in related technologies and projects in building new software applications for the enterprise. Proficient in architecting/designing/developing multi-tiered secured business applications for high availability, scalability and of high performance is preferred. At least 3 to 4 years experience in various other aspects of systems development, including development, architecture, project management, data modeling, testing, etc. Experience in multiple areas is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Candidate must work on-site in client's offices. Candidate will be required to submit writing or work samples illustrating their ability to author a range of high-quality project deliverables depending on the role.

Position Responsibilities - Summary

Role – Integration Service's Engineer - Integration Services is a resource
to provide on-site support for CLIENT Data products, including Container,
API (Reuters RFA/SFC) and Platforms. Trading applications will be supported
in the future. Successful candidate will be assigned to specific client
projects, primarily directed by the client. Work will include migrating
existing client market data applications to CLIENT data products, developing
new applications (based on client specifications), and supporting testing
and QA efforts. Candidate must be familiar with market data applications
like Reuters, data schemas and naming conventions (Symbology), as well as
performance tuning for these applications, and have the ability to focus on
specific problems/tasks within existing code.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 5+ years development experience

· C++/C#/Java - (Preference is C++)

· RMDS - (Reuters Market Data System) - RFA/SFC - (Reuters API
offerings) experience

· High performance market data application development experience -
(low latency, high volumes, etc.)

· Performance & Tuning experience for these type of applications

· Strong communications/client skills

Pluses:

· Middleware knowledge

· Data migration experience

· Experience with 3rd party applications (e.g. Charles River,
Sophis, etc.)

Responsibilities of this
position include:

- Supervise, review, and assist with the tax work

miscellaneous tax filings and FAS 109 tax accounting

- Review the Federal and state income tax returns

dispositions, financing, new construction, and development activities

- Assist in the development, training, and mentoring of
personnel.

Qualifications for the new position
include:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA

The position is primarily responsible for the coordination and review
of domestic tax returns and tax provisions for insurance and
non-insurance entities, including domestic compliance relating to
international subsidiaries.​ The successful candidate will be required
to interact with all levels of the organization, including global
accounting associates.​

Other accountabilities include:

· Assist with the completion of the group's U.​S.​ tax compliance
requirements for timely preparation of the group's federal and
