Major financial organization is seeking several Data Analysts with Financial industry experience (a MUST)for long term consulting opportunity. Project initiative is to create a simplied information platform across the cross- functional business areas involving multiple uesers and enable a collborative end to end work flow to support a fairly complex life cycle. Data Analyst consultants are responsible for tasks including: proper assessment the data cleanup issues and mitigation strategies based on thorough understanding of the financial/ratings business, transactional and workflow data; support the data modeling team in implementing changes to the data model; develop mapping of the data elements from legacy to the new database structures. Work with the Migration team to develop the migration mappings from Sybase (legacy data model) to DB2 (new data model) based on ETL infrastructure for real-time and batch data transformations leveraging XML for data transformations.Experience with a large, functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high quality applications required for all candidates Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 4 to 6 years of minimum experience in related technologies and projects in building new software applications for the enterprise. Proficient in architecting/designing/developing multi-tiered secured business applications for high availability, scalability and of high performance is preferred. At least 3 to 4 years experience in various other aspects of systems development, including development, architecture, project management, data modeling, testing, etc. Experience in multiple areas is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
