SENIOR ENGINEER (Sterling, VA)

The Drug Enforcement Agency is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team in Sterling, VA. The qualified candidate would know how to perform the following duties: Define, design and develop system requirements. Perform trade-off analyses of performance, life-cycle cost, risk, producibility, and other system or program requirements. Assess architecture and current hardware limitations, define and design system specifications, and evaluate input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Define system support requirements. Analyze and resolve program support deficiencies. Conduct independent technical investigations in systems design. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree, 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, experience with Windows Operating Systems (XP/2000/2003), and experience with various Open Source and COTS tool capabilities. All candidates will be required to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance.

LEAD CASE MANAGER (Alexandria, VA)

The Army is looking for a Lead Case Manager to supervise 30+ staff working in seven different customer service and administrative based areas. The qualified individual will work with program leads to meet business needs and identify and resolve process and deliverables - facilitate communication and coordination with Lead Analysts, Project Managers, and Program Manager. They will be responsible for operational controls including planning activities, execution, quality assurance, resource control, training, process improvement and redesign and provide weekly updates to Project Manager on production goals, staffing levels, special actions, General officer claims, Quality Assurance/Quality Control policies and procedures, training, and personnel/human resource issues. This individual will need to document and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures, process maps, and program briefing book; develop, analyze, evaluate advise, or improve the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, and management controls, information and documentation systems, and security of information, and coordinate with human resources management of staff to include annual evaluations, benefits, awards, counseling and conflict resolution. The qualified candidate must possess the following required criteria: SECRET Security Clearance, Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred), Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, excellent interpersonal skills and 2-4 years prior management experience. Prior military experience highly desired.

TRAINER (Alexandria, VA)

The Army is looking for a Trainer to work with their Casualty and Mortuary affairs division. The qualified candidate would know how to perform the following duties: Design training curriculum to include multi-media presentations, lesson plans, instructor guides, job aids, testing materials and evaluation procedures. Perform needs analysis to identify training requirements and formulate appropriate programs. Create and conduct specialized training programs for Casualty Assistance Officers, Casualty Notification Officers, Summary Court Martial Officers and Military Funeral Honors. Develop and deliver instructor training to the field to prepare new trainers to teach the fielded programs. Research and revise training materials to maintain currency with US Army Regulations, Policies and Procedures. Identify and design implementation plans for best practices. Train US Army professionals in Casualty and Mortuary Affairs responsibilities. All applicants must possess the following criteria: Knowledge of adult learning theory concepts and principles; Experience training groups of 20 to over 100 participants; Skill at working as part of a team training a diverse audience; Ability to travel 50-60% of the time as part of an aggressive training schedule; Proficiency using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Strong verbal and written communications skills; Casualty and Mortuary affairs experience a plus (but not required); Requires active SECRET security clearance; Requires a Bachelors Degree (Master's preferred).

CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (Alexandria, VA)

The Army is seeking a Customer Service Specialists for the Army Long Term Family Case Management Center (ALTFCM) who will be responsible for conducting outreach to Families of deceased Soldiers six months after the date of casualty. Representatives are responsible for identifying eligible cases though the Army's Defense Casualty Information Processing System (DCIPS). Much of the outreach is conducted telephonically however there are instances where mailings of informational packets are required. During the telephonic outreach to Primary and Secondary Next of Kin, the Support Staffer informs the Family member of the services provided by ALTFCM and as if they would like to provide feedback or comments regarding the Army's casualty and mortuary programs. This feedback is captured in Quickbase, ALTFCM's customer relations management tool. Outreach Support staff is responsible for tracking survey results and participation daily. Candidates must be available for 40+ hour, 5 day work weeks on shifts ranging from 7am to 12 midnight, weekdays, weekends and holidays. All applicants must possess the following required criteria: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Bachelors Degree required; Prior military experience is a plus; Active SECRET security clearance or CAC access.

SENIOR MANAGEMENT ANALYST (Washington, DC)

The Department of Homeland Security is seeking a Senior Management Analyst. The Senior Management Analyst would support client's CPIC Process and Reporting, develop PM artifacts (PMP, RMP, Communications Management Plan, WBS, Schedule, etc) and coordinate ITPWG and IRB Gate Reviews at DHS. This person will also conduct complete configuration management of Gate Review packages, conduct template compliance checks, edit documentation, and assist in budget development and execution. A qualified candidate would possess a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in a similar role.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Washington, DC)

The FAA is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to apply systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapon systems; review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. This individual would apply system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management; analyze, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics and eight years of experience performing the foregoing systems engineering functions.

SENIOR ACQUISITION ANALYST (Washington, DC)

The FAA is looking for a Senior Acquisitions Analyst to act as a lead for the contractor procurement support team. This individual would provide assistance in, and coordinate contract support for, all phases of the acquisition process; Conduct research and presents findings on contracting approaches, requirements analysis, existing contract analysis, and preparation of all pre-contract documentation, including preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) , and Procurement Requests (PRs); Review contract documentation for compliance with government acquisition policies and regulations; Assist in the evaluation of proposals, contract negotiation and review of all contract documentation; Provide and support budget and recourse requirements; Assist in implementing and managing contract modifications reviews, interpret and identify discrepancies in modifications; Provide contract administration support; act as interface with the government Contracting Officer and Specialist, and technical support staff to review, mediate, and resolve contract related issues. Track resources and expenditures, identify and analyze buying trends, and monitor and evaluate deliverables and performance; Review and evaluate existing procedures, and assists in the development of new standard operating procedures. A qualified candidate would possess the following educational and work background: A graduate degree in Business, Law, Communications, or related field. Must have a minimum of 12 years direct experience in government contracting and contract administration, 5 of which must have been within the past 8 years.
