Work with vendors, and third parties to conduct research into new and enabling technologies and manage the product lifecycle management for your specific area. Participate in Enterprise Architect Planning (EAP) to create strategic target architectures and roadmaps that enable business value. Provide project architecture support to create conceptual and logical designs as well as provide tier four support for escalated production issues. Knowledge Knowledge and understanding of: 1. Data Warehousing & BI Architectures 2. Master Data Management Architectures 3 Unstructured Data / Document Management 4 Data Quality and Data Cleansing approaches 5 Operational vs. Analytical models and architectures 6 ETL approaches and tools 7 ERP systems Expertise in at least one of the knowledge areas is required. Skills Strong analytical problem solving, oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to present information in a clear and concise manor to a wide range of audiences Excellent leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills Capable of working with other subject matter experts and influence others to create a collaborative synergistic solution based on business value Complete and thorough understanding of Information Technology with specific focus on data architecture and data modeling Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of data including the following: 1. Data analysis and requirement gathering EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years of design, engineering and architecture experience at the enterprise level, specifically with the analysis / discovery, design, implementation, documentation, delivery / transition/support of various data architect solutions Experience in designing complex, yet standardized and well designed systems landscapes Experience with DBMS (Oracle, SQLServer or DB2).
