Position Responsibilities - Summary

The IT Client Systems Team is responsible for the development and support of
Corporate Business applications. This team consists of approximately 35
technology professionals whose key functions include application
development, system integration, application support, and production
support. The supported business areas are Client Services, Performance
Analytics, Business Development, Renewable Resources, Finance, and Human
Resources.
The .NET Developer will help drive the design and development of a CRM
Upgrade project. The development team currently consists of three CRM
experienced developers out of Boston. The candidate will need to hit the
ground running with minimal technical training, and should be familiar with
the Microsoft technology stack in general, and .NET in particular

Position Responsibilities – Detailed

· Develop high quality .net code

· Help in design effort

· Develop enhancement and maintenance changes to the current system
(VB6 & .net)

· Code Review

· Helps in Writing unit test cases and technical documentation

Required Skills and Competencies:

Mandatory requirements:

· Overall 2-4 Years of experience

· Strong .NET experience, including 1-2 years of working with .NET
2.0 and VB6

· Experience with .NET 3.5

· Strong Experience with C# 3.0

· CRM development/customization experience in general and Pivotal
in particular would be a plus

· Familiarity with distributed enterprise applications (systems
that span several physical machines)

· Experience with automated unit testing

· Database proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2000 or preferably
2005)

· Experience with Object Oriented design tool

· Experience in the financial services sector preferred

· Undergraduate degree in technology discipline

Skills & Characteristics:

· Excellent communication skills – both written and oral

· Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational expertise, and
attention to detail

· Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and software
independently and quickly

· Self-starter, able to work as part of a small team as well as
independently, with minimal supervision

· High energy, positive attitude, professional and mature

· Detail-oriented, able to prioritize work and effectively manage
multiple tasks

· Ability to accurately estimate and meet development deadlines

Compensation
