Continuum Health Partners (wehealny.org) is currently searching for a Director of Finance Systems who can manage, plan, organize and monitor the development and implementation of ERP systems and procedures concerned with the solution of business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as liason with the IS Dept. in connection with the Continuum wide Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation
- Monitor ERP System performation; participate with IS Dept for system tuning and improvements.
- Assist Corp Director in managing activities of the ERP projects.
- Proactively work with project participants to maintain established deadlines.
- Reports problems and delays directly to the Corp Director.
- Act as hand-on implementator and senior systems person.
- Participate in technical design and configuration of all ERP Systems.
- Interact with technical support, 3rd party vendors and business users to coordinate testing and implementation of upgrades and all patches.
- Acts as "hand-on" implementor or senior systems person within group. - Supervise, train and assist Continuum staff as project progresses.
- Is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives and policies of the Department and the Hospital Center.
- Participate in relationships with the IS Dept as well as all ERP 3rd Party Vendors

- Research and resolve problems, provide emergency fixes and/or technical support for major systems or programs.
- Report any system outages to Corp Director.
- Simultaneously support several projects which involve multiple users or systems.
- Acts independently to address and resolve problems and issues that arise in areas under his/her responsibility.
- Technical design, support, maintenance of all hierarchies developed to support ERP reporting and workflow requirements.
- Maintain matrix of all organizations, locations, ship-to, deliver-to, sub-inventory as well as any EDI requirements.
- Act as Security Administrator for all ERP Systems.
- Maintain security rules, roles, & responsibilities - all ERP system access including ADI, Discoverer and other reporting mechanisms.
- Provide functional and reporting support to business application leads
- Monitor all ERP processing; maintain schedules for all processing.
Requirements:

-Bachelor degree preferred although appropriate experience could count toward degree requirement; Major in a life science or business preferred. Depending upon level, would prefer advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, JD, MBA). Demonstrated negotiating experience, 3-5 years minimum. Depending upon level would prefer anywhere from 5-10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry; drug development and procurement experience a plus; (experience to be specifically appropriate - i.e., clinical trial experience for a clinical role, preclinical experience for a preclinical role). Experience as a user or provider of outsourced services. Knowledge of pharmaceutical R& process, GLPs, GMPs or GCPs desirable. For international candidates, a fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
-Must be able to participate in the creation of high functioning interdependent partnerships with other Sourcing/Contractin g/procurement groups· Must be able to work effectively in a matrixed environment while supporting specific teams and/or projects for business partners. In some cases probably at a higher level (would require demonstrated leadership experience).
-Must demonstrate capability to be nimble & adapt to customer needs while balancing business priorities.
