Help Desk Technician – Job Description

 

The Help Desk Technician will assist the Director of IT with the 24/7/365 day-to-day operations of the corporate environment, providing desktop support to end-users with software and/or hardware related problems. This includes monitoring, backup build systems, procedures and scalability planning.

 

Detailed Description:

 

  • 24/7/365 Incident monitoring and resolution
  • Provide desktop support to end-users with software and/or hardware related problems Maintenance of systems documentation
  • Backup and recovery procedures

 

Requirements:

 

5+ years experience operating systems using:

  • Windows 2000/2003 Servers
  • DNS/DHCP Services
  • RAS, Routing and VPN
  • RAIDs
  • Exchange 2000/2003
  • Windows XP Professional/2000 Workstations
  • MS Exchange/MS Outlook 2003
  • MS Office 2003
