Topic Brief

For continuous improvement initiatives, we often hear and read about Six Sigma, Lean, Process Reengineering, culture change, and organizational change management. How do we know which one(s) of these are the right tools to consider? To answer this question, we need to first understand the underlying concepts of quality.

Our speaker tonight, Linda Tomasi, will discuss: what quality means, what influences quality, what is strategic quality, what are the pro's and con's of the tools, and what are the common pitfalls. She will also share with us what's worked based on her experience in helping organizations implementing the right quality tools to solve their unique problems. Participants will take away with them key concepts and practical advice on how to select the right quality tools for executing improvement initiatives.
