Please communicate to your staff that the following opportunity is available:
TITLE: Network Support Specialist
REPORTS TO: Jay Naik
LOCATION: Hackensack Office
WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Must be available to work additional hours, including off-hours, weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for maintaining computing environment by identifying system requirements, installations and upgrades. This includes: ensuring system security, monitoring system performance, supporting end users and clients, documenting and testing of applications and networks, cabling and installing computing hardware and installing, maintaining and repairing all computer hardware.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related area or a combination of formal education and computer training that demonstrates a thorough command of computer technology.
4 plus years of relevant work experience (system administration, management of mid-sized system alone or networking knowledge, network hardware configuration maintenance and performance tuning, web infrastructure design, implementation management and performance monitoring).
Demonstrated knowledge of Windows systems administration and software support for client applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as superior interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
