Thanks Marilyn for the following event info!

A free Career Skills Workshop will be presented at the Franklin Public Library on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 7:30 p.m.

This free workshop will present valuable information for those
seeking new jobs or interested in advancing in their current jobs.
This event will be hosted by the Franklin Public Library and
sponsored by Somerset Toastmasters and the Toastmasters Area 43 clubs.
The evening will include presentations by award-winning speakers and an educational video on interviewing techniques.

Scheduled speakers include Mary McGinley, executive director and
head of HR for New Millennium Theatre Works, Inc. Also scheduled to
speak are Mark Streitman, CEO of Embedded Systems Design and success
coach Donna Juzva.

Eric Stetson of Somerset Toastmasters, co-sponsor of the event,
explains, "Our club focuses on helping people develop the
communications skills necessary to compete in the job market. When we
heard several of our members give particularly useful presentations on
topics such as goal setting, networking and communication in the work
place, we thought it was important to share this with the community."

No registration is required to attend this informative workshop.

Attendees will also receive a hand-outs and information about
Toastmasters Area 34 and Toastmasters International. The Franklin
Township Public Library is located in the municipal complex at 485
DeMott Lane in Somerset.

The Somerset Toastmasters Club is the local chapter of Toastmasters
International, founded in 1924, and is devoted to helping community
members develop their public speaking and leadership skills. TI has
grown to become a world leader in helping people become more competent
communicators. Area 34 of TI includes five clubs in the Somerset area.

give a presentation about volunteering and opportunities in the non-profit
sector for employment. The meeting will also give an opportunity to network and
address any concerns regarding the job market and employment.

Somerville (white house to the right of the church parking lot). RSVP is
