Please be aware (and beware). Some email ids, possibly including this one, have apparently been hacked. The ones I am aware of so far are hosted by yahoo, but the problem may be more widespread or it may just be yahoo ids. I do not know.

If you have received odd sounding or odd looking emails that appear to have come from this email id, they are not from me. Please do not click on any links in emails that seem suspicious, even if they appear to be from someone you know. Always err on the side of caution.

You should always check to see if the person actually sent any unusual emails before opening or clicking on any links. This is one reason to always hide email addresses whenever you share information with others (so if you choose to forward this email to anyone, be sure not to pass along this email address in the text, and to use the bcc option if you are sending it to multiple people).

Also, if you have received spam from this email address, please contact Yahoo and ask them why they are allowing email IDs to be hacked and what they are doing to stop such hacking. (If you actually get a response that is something other than a canned and useless response, please be kind enough to send it to me).
