Project Manager / Business Analyst
NYC
We are seeking a project manager / business analyst in global technology organization to define the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business users and stakeholders. The candidate must be strong in project management and business analysis skills.

Requirements:

8+ plus years of direct experience in project management and business analysis including all aspects of process development and execution.
Experience in front office OMS & EMS platforms, and middle and back office technology.
Experience in Sales and Trading, middle office, and back office operations.
Experience with producing analysis documents and testing and development of test plans.
Good organizational skills, can correctly estimate project deliverables and timelines
Understanding of software design and development
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with Equities and Fixed Income is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop project plans and associated communications documents, liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Develop and execute test plan focused on functional & data quality testing as well as all other methods of testing (stress, volume, etc)
Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

H1B Visa, EAD, Green Card, or U.S. citizenship is required.

DUTIES
This client is looking for a strong .NET/SharePoint developer with broad technology experience focusing on the Microsoft stack. In this role, you will work with account teams in understanding customer requirements, develop proof of concepts, develop solution accelerators and provide general development to support the sales team, including contributions to library of internal and customer-facing technical content.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have deep enterprise development experience, including in-depth, hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework and the Microsoft SharePoint Platform (MOSS 2007 and Office 2010/SharePoint 2010). Experience in one or more of the following is also required:

.NET, C# or VB.NET
SharePoint development
ASP.NET
MVC
WinForms
WCF
SQL
A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required. 125k +.
Also required are a commitment to customer satisfaction, including internal customers, the ability to thrive in a virtual team environment, and strong communication skills. The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of opportunities; works independently, manages multiple simultaneous projects, and deals well with ambiguity and last-minute changes. The candidate needs to have the ability and passion necessary to maintain technical excellence with emerging technologies.
