SHAREPOINT 2007 SENIOR DEVELOPER/ARCHITECT

Project Description:

· Expert in the design and architecture of custom SharePoint 2007 applications and web parts using .NET C#.

· Good understanding of SharePoint 2010 - which will be implemented in production in 2011, with development efforts beginning in 2010.

· Ability to interact with clients and define system requirements from user needs.

· Code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications.

· Good understanding of DB and interactions with web tools (SQL Server, Oracle).

· Good understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus but not required.

· Good understanding of http request life cycle.

· Proficient in HTML, JAVA Script, CSS, AJAX.

· Proficient in SilverLight is a significant plus but not required.

· Good understanding of Object Oriented design and programming methodologies.

· Experience with version control applications and build process (Visual Source Safe/Clear Case, nant, Cruise Control, WatiN).

· Experience with Web Services.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Experience with multi-tiered architectures.

· Experience with latest versions of .NET.

· Active Directory experience.

· Siteminder / LDAP integration experience a plus but not required.

· Analyze application requirements and recommend design/architecture.

· Create detailed project outlines and application design specifications.

· Quality reviews of code developed by other staff.

· An understanding of and experience with full software development lifecycle including functional and technical specification, development on object oriented design, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintained and deployment.

· Designs for more complex integration with other applications/technologies.

· Responsible for leading a team of developers and managing to project timelines/deliverables.

· Understanding of application architecture.

· Assist senior developers with project outlines and specs.

· Expertise involving increasingly complex Web-based application solutions in an n-tier environment.

· Primarily analyzes, designs, develops and supports major Web information systems designs from an enterprise perspective.

· Can be expected to help in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems.

Required Skills: SharePoint 2007, .NET, C#, HTML, Java Script

This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
