Location: Rochelle Park NJ . Some travel in the tri state area .
CAPM is fine . PMP is preferred.

Project Managers support sales and Professional services operations in winning
quality new business, demonstrate the value of Software Development Lifecycle
Methodology to Clients, contribute when necessary to the production of Client
Proposals and make customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions;
developing and sustaining productive customer relations. Project Managers have
the ability to create and maintain a meaningful plan to ensure optimum use of
company resources and adherence to client contractual commitments, plan, agree
and communicate multi-phase, multi-tier, multi-party development project plans
and ensure outbound and inbound client dependencies are integrated into the
schedule and communicated to the client.
Key characteristics of the Project Manager role are:
Project management, control and P&L accountability for end to end
delivery of projects
Manage delivery within time and budget, communicating progress,
controlling tasks, co-ordinating staff, redressing project slippage, reporting
deviations in excess of tolerance, escalating issues to the appropriate level
when necessary
Ensure consistency between Specifications, Designs, 3rd Party
Contracts, Project Definition Documents and Statements of Work.
Instill a strong change control culture into the project lifecycle
Implement and control processes to manage change requests and
requirements, accurately estimating additional workloads, their associated
timescales and costs in T&M and Fixed Price situations and effectively
integrating into overall project plans
Effectively balance the needs for Client Satisfaction with
Quality, Cost and Delivery goals
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as
necessary to ensure their successful completion
Establish an effective communication schedule to update the team
and management on project progress
