This position is a blended role – System Analyst with direct project management responsibility.
Currently looking to replace core technologies that support the document rendering and draft report publishing capabilities. Current technologies are Liquent's CoreDossier Generators for document rendering, and Liquent's CoreReports for draft report publishing. The SYSTEM ANALYST/PROJECT MANAGER will lead the analysis effort, ensuring that replacement technologies meet the needs and requirements, and manage the full implementation, validation, and transition of the chosen system.
Qualifications:
General:
• Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced degree (MS / MBA) a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, contribute and energize a high performing team in a matrix environment.
• Has a demonstrated ability to partner with diverse group of business units and establish trust, candor and mutual respect.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills including proficiency interpreting complex and competing business issues.
• Ability to work in a truly global environment.
• Familiarity with software system validation in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
As Project Manager, you will be expected to:
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
• Review deliverables prepared by team.
• Effectively apply organizational methodology and enforce project standards.
• Minimize exposure and risk on project.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
As System Analyst, you will be expected to:
• Have a strong knowledge of rendering capabilities and requirements.
• Have a strong knowledge of submission/report publishing process and requirements.
• Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
• Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes.
• Conduct technical research on systems to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and test them for both technical and business compatibility.
• Translate system requirements into technical specifications.
