· Duration: 9 months contract attempt to hire
Job Description & duties
· Following established standards and procedures, design and code ATM Terminal Driving Functionality within Terminal Device Handlers.
· Testing of coding changes which were made to ensure, accuracy and completeness, in regard to Client requirements and proper operation of changes.
· Requirements will be detailed in the Requirements document supplied by CR Projects or identified as part of the PTR resolution process.
· Supports ATM Load developers in understanding the requirements of the Device Handlers, to support new functionality, as they create ATM Loads to support the new functionality.
· Provides Production support for terminal configuration issues, as well as, assisting other members of the Terminal Driving Team, including new Terminal Applications and hardware.
· Work with Load Developers, and Device handler Programmers within team, to develop project requirements and high-level effort hour estimates.
· Design and document technical specifications as required.
· Provide work breakdown structures and associated effort hour estimates.
· Code and test Device handlers for the different ATM manufacturers Terminals we support.
· Provide assistance & guidance to Quality Assurance team as necessary.
· Conduct reviews of other team memberâs technical specifications.
· Monitor production installs for desired impact or potential issues.
· Provide second line production support. *Maintain work standards as outlined in our Metrics reporting.
· Provide weekly status reports and time accounting.
Requirements
· 5 years experience with Tandem systems and Terminal Device handler knowledge.
· Skill set would include an understanding of Extended services, Tandem Guardian experience is required.
· Knowledge of API and coding, using TAL, C, C++ and some Java knowledge required.
· Extensive knowledge in Configurations of ATM terminals.
· Troubleshooting skills, including use of Traces and Utilities offered from tandem.
· Paragon Configbuilder and ATMulator tools (used for load creation and testing) experience preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize assignments; known tasks as well as unplanned issues, and meet deadlines.
· Able to work independently with a strong sense of accountability, as well as with a team.
· Highly motivated and self-assured; hands-on problem solver.
· Experience interfacing with Operational, and Development teams.
· Experience with Systems Life Cycle methodologies.
· Financial industry experience a plus.
