Front End GUI Java Developer, NYC, $150k

client, one of the worlds most successful Investment Banks, are looking for a front end GUI developer. You will be responsible for design and development of their new Risk & Margin platform. This candidate will have the opportunity to interface with product development and research groups to collaborate on project.

The candidate will have an opportunity to progress their career along the technology track into senior developer / technical lead. Cross Product Margin business group operates on a global scale from and provides enhanced margining service to institutional clients and hedge funds in all markets.

The candidate should have a working knowledge in the following areas:
Strong Java/J2EE development experience
Design and development of high performance websites using front end technologies such as JavaScript
Business domain modeling and database design
Spring and Hibernate frameworks
Strong working knowledge of SQL and one of the major databases
Plus:
Perl, Python, C/C++, and shell languages
