NETWORKING
One of the most effective ways to expand your circle of influence is through networking. Word of mouth can enhance not only your potential to discover opportunity, but it also can facilitate opportunity to discover you. Executive networking seeks to bring together experience-intensive individuals to interact with professionals of similar career levels from different industries, companies, and career aspirations. In these segments, you will network with management level individuals and recruiters to extend your sphere of influence, seek advancement opportunities, expand professional awareness, and to accelerate your career.

MANAGING JOB TRANSITION
The average American can expect to change jobs at least eleven times during his or her career. Taking a new position often opens the door to enhanced career opportunities and increased earnings. On the other hand, leaving an employer can present an employee with critical and potentially confusing decisions. Understanding the financial choices that are available can help protect you and your family. Joseph Chu, First Vice President – Investments, Portfolio Manager, Senior Financial Advisor, will identify some problems that often occur in career transition and present possible strategies for resolution. The seminar seeks to help you take your first step to develop planning strategies to make the most of your assets and ensure a smooth and profitable transition.

EXECUTIVE RECRUITER PANEL
What does the current job market look like? What are successful candidates doing to win jobs? What are employers looking for? In this session, our executive recruiter panel from Elite Placement Group will address these important questions and more. Elite Placement Group is a permanent and temporary executive search firm specializing in accounting, finance, human resources and administrative personnel. Established in 2005, they have developed a team of select, highly qualified recruiters offering large firm talent combined with the value and service of a boutique firm. Their focused approach enables them to find the most qualified financial, accounting, human resources and administrative professionals. The personal attention they give to each and every one of their clients ensures that each client receives optimum results. This has proven to be their formula for success!

COMMUNICATING YOUR VALUE
Story telling is one of the most effective ways to communicate your value and to be remembered. In this interactive workshop we will start with a simple energizing exercise for identifying skills. You will be introduced to a structure for shaping a story that demonstrates something about you that is key to the value that you bring to your professional role. As a consultant, facilitator, executive coach, team builder, trainer and speaker, Jane Maloney and her team help organizations develop the people skills they need in order to achieve optimal results with greater ease and efficiency. Through InterAction, Inc., the development consultation practice Jane formed in 1987, she has worked in professional and financial service organizations, consumer products, publishing, telecommunications and education. Her educational background includes a Masters degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, a postgraduate certificate in organizational consultation from the William Alanson White Institute, and a B.A. from The Juilliard School.
