Location: Stamford, CT

Initial duration: 3-4 months with a high possibility of multiple extensions

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced OBIEE BA/Developer to work with users in
analyzing business problems and delivering customized solutions using OBIEE
tools (Dashboards, Alerts, Queries, Reports, etc.). The role involves
designing, developing, testing and deploying reports. The successful
candidate will assist with executing and maintaining appropriate OBIEE
administration best practices and procedures, and also be expected to
perform training and knowledge transfer on OBIEE features to technical
staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

* 5-7 years of design and development experience using OBIEE

* Solid understanding of OBIEE Suite (OBI Server, Dashboard, Answers,
and Analytics)

* Strong overall Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing acumen
(e.g. OLAP vs OLTP, data modeling, ETL)

* Good Oracle development foundation (e.g., TOAD, PL/SQL)

* OBIEE architecture and administration experience is a plus

* Demonstrated business skills in understanding and responding to
users' requirements within a realistic scope

* Must have excellent communication skills

Accounting Supervisor 
 
Location:  Paramus/Linden, NJ – Harsco
Infrastructure

Job Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Supervisor is
responsible for directing, evaluating and maintaining the Home Office (US and
Canada), plant and subsidiary accounting functions of the division.  The
Accounting Supervisor controls and coordinates accounting activities necessary
to meet financial reporting requirements of Harsco Corporate Office and the
Division.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
Month-end closing responsibilities include journal entries, entering and
approving.
Monthly forecasting.
Intercompany, notional and interdivisional balance verification.
Forecasting, P&L analysis, variances, group quarterly and monthly reporting,
completion of 10K schedules.
Perform confidential legal and HR accruals and expense analysis.
May supervise accounting staff.
 
 
Basic Qualifications:
BS, Accounting or Finance
5 years related supervisory experience with USGAAP, SOX compliance, Financial
Reporting and Month-end Closing
Must be available to work extended hours, especially during closing periods

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
5-10 years related experience
Experience working in an organization with multiple locations

Job Summary:  The Regional Safety Manager, under the direction of the HIA
Manager of Safety, plans, implements, and coordinates sound safety policies and
procedures designed to prevent, reduce and/or eliminate occupational injuries
and illnesses, deaths, as well as vehicular and liability injury or property
damage incidents, and related financial losses. Ensures that the workplace is
compliant with federal, state and local OSHA regulations. May administer the
region's risk area including worker's compensation, auto, and general liability
as well as environmental concerns.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
1.     Ensures that region is in compliance with federal, state, and local EPA
and OSHA regulations.  Maintains current with ever changing requirements.
 
2.     Conducts incident investigations to identify root causes. Assists and
prepares incident reports and assures that they are maintained.
 
3.     Conducts job safety audits and inspections to identify hazards. 
Evaluates hazards and determines the extent of injury and potential loss that
may occur.
 
4.     Provides necessary training and safety advice to operational and field
staff.  Works closely with the operational staff to determine immediate and
future needs.
 
5.     Identifies, recommends, and implements changes and improvements in safety
practices to reduce and eliminate hazards and incidents.
 
6.     Assists in regulatory inspections.
 
7.     May administer workers compensation, auto, or general liability claims
and loss control activities to coordinate risk reporting activities.
 
8.     Conducts and provides results to appropriate management level regarding
audit, inspections, investigations, and or other activities.
 
9.     Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and ensures
that employees observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent
injuries or damage; schedule periodic safety meetings, and solicit recommended
changes to improve safety procedures.
 
10.   Other duties that may be assigned.
 
Basic Qualifications:
·         Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, or other
engineering, or business, or technical degree.
·         OSHA 500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health for the
Construction Industry, or equivalent.
·         OSHA 301 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health for General
Industry, or equivalent.
·         Six (6) years experience in construction or industrial safety and
health.
·         Must be able and willing to travel 85%, including overnight and
occasional weekend.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
1.     Safety & Health Certification (ASSE, NEBOSH, or NSC)
2.     CPR/First Aid/AED
3.     HAZWOPER
4.     NCCER
