Job Description

Our client is seeking a Linux/Apache/Tomcat Support Engineer who will be
part of a 24x7 production support staff that does local and remote support
on a multi-tiered e-commerce site. The role involves server builds/installs,
code deployment, maintenance, debugging and troubleshooting of system
issues, using automated scripts. The successful candidate will be required
to be on an on-call rotation.

Required Skills and Experience

. Must have strong debugging skills and deep understanding of
technology.

. Experience in managing and supporting high volume websites running
on Linux Redhat (Apache/Tomcat/Jboss - PHP) & IIS 6/7

. Experience in working with technologies like Microsoft MTS, ASP,
COM+, Active Directory, Windows 2003, IBM MQ Series, Oracle, MySql

. Experience writing automation scripts (Perl, NSH, VBscript, WMI)
for server maintenance

. Strong communication skills, good technical understanding and a
team oriented work ethic

Preferred Skills :

. Bladelogic, Tealeaf, BMC Patrol, JBoss
