Lead Business Analyst
We are seeking a senior level Business Analyst (5+ years) with strong
business and systems knowledge of the different financial instruments such
as equities, derivatives, Fixed Income and Alternate Investments.
The person will need to have a strong background working with tech teams,
working with end-users, gathering requirements, and creating BRDs. This
person will need to have the technical knowledge to help the technical
decisions.

The Business Analyst should be able to create and maintain the strategic
partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery. The Business
Analyst will be responsible for developing business requirements and related
business rules based on Business Group needs. The role will include the
creation/revision of the following analysis artefacts and deliverables:

. Process Maps
. Business Requirement Document
. Business Rules
. User Stories
. User Flows
. Acceptance Tests

The Analyst will work closely with the Business Partner and Business Subject
Matter Expert(s) in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and
support of functional requirements.

The Analyst will identify requirements via industry standard analysis
techniques such as data flow modelling, workflow analysis, and functional
decomposition analysis. The Analyst will solicit requirements through
interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.

The Analyst will participate in daily stand-up meetings with both Technology
and Business Partners to facilitate the understanding, clarification, and
implementation of requirements in an Agile development environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate
effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging
tasks. Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from
various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders. Process
driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation
method.

The candidate should have experience in Wealth management area and should
have worked in the development of Client facing applications. The analyst
should have a good knowledge of the different financial instruments such as
equities, derivatives, Fixed Income and Alternate Investments.

Essential
. Experience in requirement management, Use Cases, UML diagrams
. Thorough knowledge on SDLC process
. Knowledge RUP will be an advantage
Essential
Minimum 5 - 7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in the
financial industry.
Bachelors / Graduate Degree

Desirable
. Prior experience working with Business Process Management suites (vendor,

The candidate will work alongside Business Analysts, Architects, Developers,
QC and Business representatives in the Securities Sales IT team in London,
New York, Raleigh/Durham, and Singapore on the Securities Intelligence (SI)

Business analyst facing off to the Structured trading (Equity Derivatives -
Exotics) desk in NA, and to the Flow trading desk in NA.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in a front
office facing Derivatives trading environment.

The candidate will be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure
environment while maintaining a calm demeanour, and building a strong
relationship with the business.

Excellent interpersonal skills will be necessary as the candidate will work
