Director (ASP.Net/C#) of Software Development
Fulltime
125-145K Base w/bonus

New York City Company is looking for a strong, hands on Director with a
solid background in C# and ASP.Net. Candidate must be able to get into the
architecture, design layers, code, look at a problem, and be able to
evaluate it at a technical level, not just from a pure, business/technical
perspective. Must want to get your hands dirty and be able to handle what's
going on now. Over time that will become less and it will become more about
managing and making sure that architectural review processes occur, but
initially this is more hands on. A primary objective of the Director is to
refine and enhance the software development processes, implement state of
the art practices and procedures that ensure development projects are
appropriately defined, budgeted, prioritized, developed, documented, QA'd,
and maintained and supported once they are released in the market. Must have
at least 10 yrs of experience and have managed technical teams in the past.
Experience in retail, consumer goods, publishing or digital media is a plus.
No relocation! Must live in the New York City area! US Citizens, Green Card,
or EAD Holders. No recruiters please!
