Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager, Development & Construction

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Development and Construction, this position will be
expected to support the activity for Sr. Project Leads: creating project
charters, developing schedules and preliminary budgets, project data
management, project reporting, scheduling meetings, maintaining meeting
minutes and following up on action items for all projects within the
Development and Construction (DC) department. This Project Manager will be
given small projects as knowledge and skills are demonstrated supporting
Siemens methodologies, development and construction practices. The size and
scope of projects will grow commensurate with demonstrated abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and guide multiple resources required on construction projects to
include external project managers, general contractors, regulatory agencies,
space planners, furniture vendors, and strategic procurement support. To
assure projects are completed within budget and to the complete satisfaction
of all stakeholders, including the client and senior management.
•Support the goals of the Global Sustainability Program Office.
• Develop the knowledge to conceptualize and direct the development of
analysis and business cases in support of acquisition, development and
construction projects incorporating the necessary financial, economic, and
market data to present findings to SRE and SBU management for consideration.

• Ensure that future investments/developments are designed and completed in
a way that maximizes the overall asset value without a negative impact to
future use or exit strategies.
• Represent SRE in presentations to and/or obtaining approvals from
jurisdictional authorities on development projects, expansions, or new
locations.
• Complete PM @ SRE with in first 18 months of start time to ensure a
systematic, structured approach to development and construction projects
within Siemens. The core elements of PM @ SRE are project and system
structure, quality management, risk management, schedule management, cost
management, and change management.
• Develop and manage detailed budgets associated with internal and external
service and material suppliers for SBU and SRE management review and
approval; Provides value engineering (VE) techniques as required to meet
business plans and budget requirements.
• Produce project reports and tracks critical metrics for internal and
external presentations; Gathers data and prepares presentations for meetings
with SRE Germany.

Experience/Education:
• BS/BA highly preferred, equivalent experience will be considered. MS in
Construction Management preferred.
• 7+ years of successful experience in a Corporate Real Estate Project
Management (construction) capacity.
• Solid knowledge of Project and Process Management to deliver optimum
results and state of the art real estate solutions. High level of customer
service goals and expectations, a must.
• Complete PMP certification with in first 2 years of employment, LEED AP a
plus.
• Must be proficient in MS office suite and MS Project; AutoCAD, BIM. Rivet
knowledge/experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must (including the
preparation and delivery of high level presentations).
• Willingness to travel up to 40% mostly domestic, some international.

Overview:

Working under the direction of the Planning Manager, the Business Systems
Analyst (BSA) will support the Investor Reporting efforts for the firm's
