Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and

Project Manager to support the infrastructure activities in a life products application. The project manager will oversee infrastructure and architecture implementation to support application development team

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate activities related to the implementation multiple teams and the program management
* Management of project staff towards a common goal. Potential to have one or more project managers reporting to them on smaller projects.
* Responsible for applying project management tools and methodologies to ensure the delivery of multiple small projects or a single large and complex project.
* Integrates multiple functional areas of technology and the business in the planning, execution, control and implementation of the project.
* Organizes and leads the project team through the initiation, planning, execution, control, implementation and closure phases of the project.
* Creates and manages the necessary artifacts necessary required for governance approval for medium to large-scale projects.
* Actively manages stakeholder expectations
* Manages deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the define timeline and quality based on CMMI and SDLC guidelines
* Reports status to the sponsor, and escalates changes, issues, risks for resolution when needed.
* Manages third party vendors providing project specific support or software customization.

Requirements:
* Ability to execute and prioritize a large number of tasks, and resolve issues and resource conflicts without aid from direct manager or project sponsor.
* Ability to coordinate multiple activities across number of teams
* Ability to design and lead the implementation of an efficient process for overall project management.
* Ability to interact with other process groups as required to ensure an integrated holistic view of the process framework.
* Ability to provide business and/or technical leadership to the extent needed for successful conduct of the project

We are seeking multiple full time permanent Software Engineers to work as members of the Java/J2EE-based product engineering teams building the next generation of our client companyâ€™s products and services in King of Prussia, PA. We need junior level (3 years), mid level (6 years) and Sr. level (10+ years) Core Java, JSP, J2EE developers. Experience with Spring MVC is a plus but not required. All candidates must have EAD, Green Card or US Citizenship status.

As a member of a cross-functional development team, Software Engineers work closely with Database, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Project Management and other software teams to implement technology solutions for new and existing products and services. Software Engineers participate in all phases of product development including: planning, analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

Implement new features, components, and services from specs employing Java-based technologies with little direct supervision.
* Participate in requirements analysis and development planning activities.
* Assist in resolving testing and production issues when they arise.
* Produce detailed and accurate documentation relating to assigned tasks when necessary.
* Promote highly-collaborative, team-oriented environment, working closely with all levels of product development staff and third-party development teams.
Qualifications:
* BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture.
* 3 â€" 10 years experience programming Core Java, JSP and J2EE technologies.
* Coding experience using Web-presentation technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), SQL scripting, and Unix scripting.
* Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Candidates must have a consistent track record of supporting projects with a duration of at least 1 year.
* Candidates must have experience supporting long term initiatives.
Preferred
* Experience in e-commerce application development.
* Experience working with or developing Open Source projects.
* Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.
* Experience with Oracle 10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.
* Experience with MuleESB.
* Extensive (2+ years) experience using Spring and Spring MVC.
