continuous development, improvement and operation of e-Commerce, Enterprise
applications, Internet and Intranet applications. Currently, these systems
support multi million page views a day on the internet, and millions of
e-commerce and non commerce transactions per year.

The Scholastic Technology Service online environment consists of P690s
running AIX, Websphere Application Server, Websphere Commerce Server, and
DB2. There is a storage area network (SAN) based on IBM's Shark and McData's
fabric switch. The Windows environment is based on Intel servers and there
is a legacy of Sun/Solaris, Oracle and ATG applications. Networking and
security are based on Cisco products. The Application Development team is
responsible for coding and integrating various applications running on the
diverse web sites and partners with the Project Management Office on

The team is generally responsible for:
• e-Commerce application development employing J2EE and Microsoft standards

POSITION OBJECTIVES
The Director of e-Commerce Application Development will assume

The role of the Senior Risk Analyst is to implement and communicate

Working under the direction of the Planning Manager, the Business Systems

The successful candidate will have 10 years of experience, either on a macro
