JVN: # 836-10-4598B : The division seeks a dynamic individual who will be serving as a Senior Technical Manager. The individual will be responsible for overseeing enhancements to the existing application and development of new functions, as well as, identifying application system alternatives to enhance performance and achieve the needs of user environment; recommend solutions, application system design approaches and revisions, in order to streamline programming and operation of the system. Will also be responsible for production support of the existing application and Database support. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. A master's degree in computer science from an accredited college and three years of progressively more responsible, full-time, satisfactory experience using information technology in computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, database administration, planning of data/information processing, user services, or area networks at least 18 months of this experience must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity in the areas of computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, data base administration, or planning of data processing or in the supervision of staff performing these duties; or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of experience as described in "1" above; or 3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or recognized accrediting organization and six years of experience as described in "1" above; or 4. A satisfactory combination of education and experience equivalent to "1", "2" or "3" above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or recognized accrediting organization and must possess at least three years of experience as described in "1" above, including the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience as described in “ 1� above. NOTE: The following types of experience are not acceptable: superficial use of preprogrammed software without complex programming, design, implementation or management of the product; use of word processing packages; use of a hand held calculator; primarily the entering or updating of data in a system; the operation of data processing hardware or consoles. Preferred Skills: 10 + years of working experience with AIX, DOS, Windows, SQL, SAS, Power Builder (version 10 and HTML experience is a plus). Knowledge of mainframe back ends, AIX shell and Ruby scripting. Stored procedure and shell script coding skills is a must Project lead, business analysis, application architecture and database design experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with the full development lifecycle Extensive knowledge of Content manager development; SWING; Struts/Hibernate Rational Application Developer V6 and V7; J2EE; EJB 2; JDK 1.4 & 1.5; SWING; Struts 2; JSP/Servlet; JDBC with DB2 UDB V 8.2. & V 9.5. JVN: # 836-10-4591B: The Senior Data Analysts will be responsible for business analysis, enhancements to the existing application, and development of new functions to assist the user community in their business functions. Also, will be responsible for technical analysis, design of requirements that might impact strategic direction; measuring and monitoring process to ensure that the project is delivered technically stable. Will also be responsible for production support. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. JVN: # 836-10-4592B: The primary function of this position will be to design and develop Business Objects universes and reports for various parts of the business based on business requirements. The Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creation of requirements as well as educate and mentor them in the use of BOXI. Also, the person will be responsible to maintain the Data warehouse architecture and universes for the Department of Finance. Additionally, the analyst will be part of a team responsible for the Business Objects infrastructure (server installation, configuration and tuning) and administration and thus providing continuous and quality BI service to the Business. Will also be responsible for making architectural decisions about the Business Objects environment in order to optimize it and guarantee successful evolutions. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Good data modeling experience and familiar with Data Warehouse best practices Relational database development and design knowledge; very strong DB2 experience in mentoring users on Business Objects; experience setting up Business Object*s Universe. Skilled in troubleshooting techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator.
