New York, NY. Description: world class financial services company in NYC seeks several Business analysts for the Valuations Review group. The Valuations Group (VG) provides an independent valuation opinion across the entire bandwidth of financial instruments within the firm's sales and trading inventory, ranging from vanilla products to the most complex structured and derivative transactions. The team leverages its profound quantitative skill set and intimate product expertise to act as a guardian and approver of valuation methodology. The group's key clients are senior trading management as well as the CFO organization of the firm. The VG infrastructure team is responsible for the development and implementation of IT enhancements to improve efficiency and controls for the global VG organization. The infrastructure team will be the main point of contact responsible for the coordination and implementation of infrastructure initiatives at the business line
levels with a view towards global standardization. The group liaises heavily with various IT groups, Trading, Risk Management, Operations and Finance. The candidate will act as the liaison between the VG users and various IT groups to implement technological enhancements. This candidate will work closely with senior VG stakeholders to further develop and implement new innovative and strategic solutions to help build a robust control framework for the VRG organization. The role will be very hands-on and involve leading and driving local and global VG Infrastructure initiatives by utilizing a mixture of project management, business analysis and relationship building skills. In addition, the candidate will need to play a lead role in the strategic thinking and planning required to define and execute on a plan to renovate the technology environment for the VG organization. Skills: The successful candidate must have a strong blend of business and technology background with 5 + years BA experience out of financial services. Ability to work effectively as a member of the team or independently. Effective in managing relationships at all levels. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Control-minded with strong attention to detail. Project management experience a plus. Work effectively under pressure when confronted with tight deadlines. Ability and willingness to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

The opening requires knowledge of ADP/Broadridge (IMPACT or BPS) in addition to the above skills. It is located in Jersey City, NJ.
Candidate will be working within The Clients Accounting/Finance team as a Project Manager/Business Analyst (not within the technology team).
Required:
-Minimum of five years of experience with working with multiple integrations of Broadridge (Impact/BPS, etc).
