[itroundtable] LEAD: Glbl PM - J & J? - FDA process

 

Description
This contracted Global Project Manager role will be responsible for leading the deployment of the electronic workflow management and digital asset management system (COCOON) all Global Business Units. This system is leveraged by the creative design, packaging engineering, and design project management teams as part of the Global Strategic Design Office (GSDO). The Global PM will need to proactively work with the appropriate vendors, deployment IT Leads in each of the regions, and with the J&J technical organizations to ensure that objectives are met, on-time, on-budget and on-quality, per SDLC 3.0 guidelines. Regular communication and status meetings with all levels of the organization will be necessary.

The role requires knowledge of the Design Lifecycle Management functions, with clear understanding of inputs and outputs to other functional areas (i.e. R&D, QA, Supply Chain, and Sourcing). The PM will need to understand the Consumer Package Goods industry landscape and requirements to be able to provide subject matter and change management expertise working directly with business partners, vendors, and other J&J technical organizations. The GBUs supported include Consumer Healthcare, OTC, Beauty, and Baby. Each GBU is responsible worldwide for one or more global franchises (e.g. Sanpro, Reach, oral care, wound care, smoking cessation). Brands include: Tylenol, Listerine, Imodium, Purell, Sudafed, Bengay, Clean & Clear, Johnson's Baby, Band-Aid, Neutrogena, etc.


Qualifications
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Candidates who possess an advanced degree are preferred. This position will require a minimum of 7 years experience with project management of software validation in GxP regulated environments. Experience implementing Global process/systems is required, minimally across two global regions (NA, EMEA, ASPAC, LATAM). Candidates are required to possess a demonstrated working knowledge of core application development principles and methodologies. This role requires tailoring communication to all levels of the organization.

Candidates who possess hands-on experience supporting design/packaging engineering/project management groups are preferred. A working knowledge of the FDA and its processes are preferred. Candidates with a demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage work in accordance with full system lifecycle (SDLC 3.0) from concept to production deployment are preferred. Experience with Business Process Modeling, and with leading substantial change management resulting from process and system changes is preferred This position will be based in Skillman, NJ, but may require working in New York City for the Neutrogena Cosmetics portion of the project.
