Manager, Finance Operations & Controls Transformation - (New York City or Chicago based) Compensation: $110K - $150K / Year Minimum Education: Bachelors Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: DNRJA1 At least 7 years of industry, vendor or consulting experience in a financial services organization, such as a broker dealer, custodian or investment bank with a clear record of expertise, accomplishment and impact. • Knowledge of a wide range of investment products including fixed income securities, alternative investments, exchange traded funds, derivatives, structured products, hedging strategies, derivative operations & processing, plus familiarity with a project management framework and industry regulations • Extensive knowledge of the trading, operations, documentation, settlement and reporting processes for securities in which the candidate specializes • Experience implementing major changes within a back-office core accounting system. • Familiarity with systems such as: Broadridge Impact or Brokerage Processing System (BPS), SunGard Phase3, Thomson BETA, etc. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients • A proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of resources and complete projects on time and within budget • A desire to continuously update skills and understanding of industry requirements and challenges and share that knowledge with both senior and junior colleagues • The ability to support or lead the proposal development and presentation process • Knowledge of developing systems through complete system development life cycle including writing functional specifications, technical specifications and test plans • Experience implementing vendor packages, process mapping and design • Full project life cycle skills from the business or technology side where responsibilities included: defining work flows, defining business requirements documents, detailed project planning, data mapping and data migration, defining user test criteria and data, testing, status monitoring, problem tracking and resolution • Understanding of writing test cases or test scripts • BA/BS (Masters preferred) degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science preferred • Must be willing to travel up to 50% Email resume in Word to TheBigGameHunter@cisny.com.
