The position will be based out of Polo's Greensboro , NC location.
 
Polo Ralph Lauren is seeking a seasoned SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
Technology Team Lead with SAP Apparel & Footwear (AFS) industry solution
experience. The candidate should have 10+ years general business and I.T.
experience with at least 5 years supporting a global SD organization for a
U.S. listed public company. The candidate should have at least 2 full life
cycle SAP SD implementations and 3 to 5 years experience managing SAP in a
competency center model. Experience with SAP's AFS Apparel & Footwear
Industry Solution (AFS) on version ECC 6.0, Integration with WMS system
PkMS, and/or SAP Master Data Management (MDM) is important.

SUMMARY
Polo Ralph Lauren (PRL) has committed to re-engineering its business & technical
processes in order to globally unlock operational efficiencies and drive value
to our brand.  To accomplish this PRL has selected SAP's Fashion & Apparel
solution as our global operational platform.  Reporting to SAP I.T. Team Lead,
the SD Lead will be the senior I.T team project member responsible for
functional design, system configuration, and the planning and execution of
RICEF's for the SD Functional Team.  Initially, this will be a project role,
however; the I.T. SD Lead is envisioned to play a leadership role in creating
and managing the to-be run organization post project go-live.  The candidate
should have 10+ years general business and I.T. experience with at least 5 years
supporting a global SD organization for a U.S. listed public company.  The
candidate should have at least 2 full life cycle SAP SD implementations and 3 to
5 years experience managing SAP in a competency center model.  Experience with
SAP's AFS Apparel & Footwear Industry Solution (AFS) on version ECC 6.0,
Integration with WMS system PkMS, and/or SAP Master Data Management (MDM) is
important.  Additionally, international experience particularly with Europe
and/or Asia would also be desirable.
 
DIMENSIONS
Supervision:                          Works directly with the SAP Sales and
Distribution Functional and Information Technology Team Leads
 
Project Scope:                      Implementation of SAP Sales and Distribution
AFS offering, including the integration of SAP with various strategic point
solution applications.
 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø  SAP ECC/ AFS/ SD functional SDLC experience
Ø  Business  / System Analyst work; process analysis, requirements gathering,
fit-gap analysis, data base table level mapping.
Ø  Blueprinting using ASAP methodology
Ø  Identifying, mapping, validating, converting SAP SD master and transactional
data
Ø  Functional Design specifications, and functional table, field and data
mappings designs.
Ø  Configuring SAP SD related programs.
Ø  Driving SD related RICEF initiatives.
Ø  Supporting SD End User & technical training development and delivery
Ø  Developing SD End User security roles
Ø  Authoring and executing Test Scripts
Ø  Leading & supporting SD Cycle Testing including integration test, user
acceptance test, business readiness test
Ø  Planning SD conversion activities in final preparation of production change
Ø  Performing SD conversion activities during production change
Ø  Supporting post production change issues using an automated ticketing system.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Ø  BA/BS degree is required  (MS/MBA degree preferred)
Ø  10+ years information technology experience with at least 5 years of business
system experience with SAP in SD
Ø  At least 2 full-lifecycle SAP implementations with SD, at least one with AFS.
Ø  Experience integrating SAP with 3rd party warehouse management systems such
as PkMS.
Ø  Experience with; Quality Center/ BW/ MDM/ Business Objects a strong plus
Ø  Solid understanding of business processes in and around all aspects of sales
and distribution or order to cash in a wholesale business environment.
Ø  Strong facilitation skills
Ø  Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ø  Excellent analysis and design skills
Ø  Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Ø  Ability to work effectively within or lead a team
