Job Description
The Senior Analyst for Finance will provide value-added financial and
business analysis and consultation for assigned divisions of the "R" Us
organization. The team member ensures that decisions support "R" Us strategy
and the financial representation of that strategy. The Senior Analyst is an
integral part of the team and is critical to achieving our objectives.
Responsibilities include:
. Compiles and analyzes financial information.
. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and
presentations.
. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures
financial information has been recorded accurately.
. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and
presents findings to senior management.
. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Desired Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications:
. B.S. / B.A. in finance or accounting, MBA essential
. 3+ years related financial experience in a corporate setting
. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business segments
being supported
. Superior analytical and quantitative/critical thinking skills
. Solid financial knowledge with some modeling experience
. Strong oral and written communication skills
. Demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in simple terms, present
results and translate statistical and business terminology to various levels
of management.
. Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and projects with
varying deadlines
. Ability to work well with individuals from all parts of the organization
and influence others (peers, seniors, subordinates)
. Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Excel

Job Description A major Bank Holding Company is looking for a Functional Architect in their New York City Office.
Main Duties
Maintain a catalog existing examples of functional architecture views that exist in the various infrastructure groups.
Refine and publish minimal standards for what should be included in any representation of a Functional Architecture.
Work closely with managers of the various functional teams to help them identify their primary processes and the
Associated up and down-stream dependencies of that function.
Work closely with colleagues to produce the functional and data models to support the enterprise architecture.
Development of additional architecture standards that would support the delivery of the Functional Enterprise

Work closely with development and delivery of staff of each of the infrastructure teams to help them articulate

Skills Required Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualificatons:

Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior SAP BI/BW Analyst who will be responsible for
the creation and support of the data warehouse using SAP BI and or other
enterprise business intelligence toolset. Must possess a strong sense of
customer service to gather requirements and understand the business needs.
The BI analyst is responsible for defining the warehouse architecture,
design and modeling of the data structures, and developing the reporting
solutions. Other duties include supporting ECC and BI upgrades, interfaces
to other core business systems, interfaces to external systems, and helping
to define and support IT processes.
Essential Functions
. Strong ability to lead discussions with the business to analyze
reporting needs, configure and model data and develop reports in BI.
. Develop, implement and manage the ETL process to bring data from
R/3 into BW.
. Develop processes to load data from non-SAP source systems.
. Develop options for data access (e.g. Web Solution, R/3
drill-through, ODS reporting, master data reporting, etc.)
. Create and maintain data structures (ODS, InfoCubes &
Muli-providers, etc.)
. Create and maintain process chain load schedules.
. Analyze and tune the BI environment.
. Build and enhance BI reports and dashboards.
. Conduct user requirements gathering and documentation designs.
. Develop functional and technical specifications, and completes
object development and testing.
. Design and execute testing plans to validate the data loading
process, data integrity and that reports are meeting business requirements.
. Work closely with end users to prioritize and manager completion
of support tickets. Track and report BI support metrics.
. Manage projects assigned through the full project lifecycle
including managing and coordinating the work of consultants when necessary.
. Document and control all changes made to productions systems via
change control process.
. Stay current with SAP's BI technology, business and industry
issues and drivers.
. Some off shift work will be necessary to support project
implementation, application changes and/or conversions that are required to
be done during hours that do impact normal business operation. Typically
these are scheduled at night and/or weekends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
. 5+ years' experience data processing and modeling and report
development in SAP BW/BI version 3.5 or higher.
. 1 year of experience on SAP BI 7.0 is desired.
. Knowledge and experiences with Business Objects is a plus.
. Knowledge of core SAP Modules (SD, MM, FICO, PP, and QM)
. ABAP Programming experience is a plus.
. In-depth knowledge of SAP BW Data Architecture.
. Strong systems architecture and design skills.
. Knowledge and experience with data warehouse logical modeling Star
Schema, Fact, Dimension, Snow-flake, Lookup, Staging, cube
. Experience with BI Administrator Workbench
. Two or more full project life cycle SAP implementations including
blueprinting, design of the data warehouse architecture, data structure and
report development, testing, end user training and post implementation
support.
. Understanding and use of SDLC methodology good practice.
. Experience with business case development, project planning and
estimation is a must.
. Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
. Experience in Solution Manager is a plus.
. Experience working for a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
