Job Description:
Work closely with the business to understand their business, processes,
and requirements
Following ITPM methodology…. Develop Business/Functional System
Requirements within Business and System Proposal documents. The
requirements gathered will be based on detailed discussions with our
business partners as well as other technical resources.
Work closely with the Technical/Build Team during the development of the
System Design, Construction, Testing, and Implementation of the final
solution.
Ensure that all proposals are in line with the strategic direction of
the company
Support Project Manager with Project Estimates, Milestone/Project Plans,
Resource Allocations, etc…
Regular status meetings and reporting
SKILLS Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in
business/systems analysis and design as well as experience with formal
project management methodologies. This person will have demonstrated
consistent success on a wide range of projects, varying in size and
complexity. They should be able to work on multiple projects
simultaneously and must be able to work independently. Excellent
communication skills are a must.
Additional Insight:
We need a top notch individual who can come in and get fully engaged
quickly….. and minimize the substantial learning curve he/she
will face.
A background and understanding of Warranty Systems in the Automotive
Industry is a plus.
This person needs to have a technical background and should have an
understanding of the following:
Data Warehouse
Cognos
Web based GUI design
DB2
Oracle
etc..
Eligibility for employment:
Candidates must pass drug test and background checks
Education verification for High School Diploma or GED and Degreed

Corporate Controller
Nationally branded, NYC based Jewelry retailer/wholesaler seeks a hands-on professional with a deep knowledge of MS Dynamics GP financial systems, financial reporting and controls . The controller will report to the CFO and manage a small staff of professionals in financial reporting, G/L, A/R and A/P.
Responsibilities:
Serve as caretaker of financial reporting and accounting systems.
Supervise A/P and A/R on a daily basis
Develop the accounting staff in GAAP and G/L procedures
Manage the monthly closing process, financial reporting, control and compliance activities
Must be hands-on in all facets of Great Plains reporting systems including FRX and RM.
Requirements:
Accounting Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience with similar responsibilities.
Strong, hands-on accounting and reporting experience.

HFM experience is a plus
Solium equity system experience a plus
Demonstrates high level of maturity, self-motivation and team-orientation
Creative problem solver
Perform well under pressure
Process mindset with focus on continuous improvement
Understand the importance of internal controls and segregation of duties
3+ years of experience with performing similar responsibilities in a $500M+ business
HFM experience is a plus
Flexibility to handle changing priorities and tight deadlines.
