Description:
Expert data modeler with hands on experience implementing financial data models, to help the firm develop a best in class canonical data model (CDM) to complement their high volume very low latency enterprise SOA foundation. The consultant will be working closely with the lead architect and the SOA foundation lead engineer, as well as a number of technical systems owners to review legacy systems and then design and implement the enterprise-wide CDM.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of hands on data model design in financial industry
Expert understanding of equities, equity derivatives & FX asset class data and operations across business regions of US, EU & AP
In depth understanding of FIX 3.x-5.x
Strong command of data modeling & rationalization strategies suitable for bringing order and consistency to divergent models and which are pragmatically implementable.
Demonstrated ability to effectively drive data modeling & rationalization activities across a number of independent teams.
Very strong communication and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work remotely with geographically distributed teams
At least 3 years hands on experience designing or developing for a high frequency low latency trading environment
In-depth understanding of how data model design affects system performance
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of ISO-20022, FpML, SWIFT
5 years+ of hands on functional experience with equity, equity derivatives and/or FX trading systems
Hands on experience with creating ontologies and UML data modeling
Hands on experience with C++, Java, XML.
Hands on experience with data model designs in other industries (insurance, retail, etc)

A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for an IT Auditor/AVP.
The IT Auditor will be responsible for planning, performing and reporting the results of application, infrastructure, product-line
and functional audits using the Audit Department's risk-based audit approach.
Other Responsibilities:
Comprehensive risk assessment and engagement planning.
Executing the audit work.
Developing, presenting and finalizing audit reports.
Experience Required:
4-8 years or related audit and audit management experience (e.g. Public Accounting Big-4, internal auidit experience with
a financial services firm being preferred).
Integrated audit work experience liaising together with financial auditors during integrated reviews.
IT-related experienced a plus (e.g. progamming, systems analysis)
Project management experience a plus but not required.
Salary Range - 85k to 115k based on experience.

Description:
- At least 5 years experience in DB2 Linux relational database work, must have exceptional hands-on application DBA skills.
- DB2 Linux version 9 and above (SQL, Temp tables, plan explains, MQTs, MDCs, referential integrity constraints, etc)
- The candidate must be familiar with scripting language such as Perl and Unix / K-Shell .
- The candidate must have strong knowledge base of relational database performance and tuning such as: proper use of indices, database statistics/reorgs.
- Familiar in setting up HADR for DB2
- Few years experience on Oracle Database with RAC experience would be a Plus.
Design, enhance and develop databases across different database environments. The job will involve considering all aspects of the project life cycle and includes proof-of-concept evaluations, coding, designing, testing, implementing, deploying, and continued support of project releases as well as on-call Level 2 support. Collaboration with the Firmâs engineering teams is expected for storage/communication solutions Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Database Infrastructure Engineering and Operations for stability and scalability, capacity planning
2. Application DBA functions: plan & execute database schema changes, bottlenecks analysis, outage prevention/resolution, server/database performance improvements, database maintenance, database recovery
3. Database development (stored procedures, ETL, tools) and queries/stored procedures review and optimization Skill Set:
The candidate will have the ability to propose/review innovative solutions and implement them in production to achieve significant improvements. They will be an expert in performance optimization on server, database, query, data structures and data flow levels, with advanced database architecture knowledge and hands on expertise in OLTP and Federated database systems. They will have excellent Database Administration skills including in depth knowledge of new and existing features to provide effective solutions for critical systems. They will act as a leader in outage resolutions and multi-team global turnovers. They will be the escalation point for major issues.
