Business Analyst - 4

Cotnract 8-12 months

NYC with some Travel to Warren, NJ
The Business will work closely with Management and staff of two GFTS Architecture Groups and interact with GFTS associated support functions. The ideal candidate would have the ability to understand technology concepts, business support experience (e.g., strategy and planning, financial control, risk, audit), skills in finance and reporting, familiarity with technology and process, as well as with financial institution policies and procedures.
She/he must demonstrate energy and dedication, be goal-oriented and self-sufficient, and should have proven ability to work effectively in a matrix context. Excellent communication skills and being a team player are essential. The position requires the ability to work with resources at various levels of the organization; program management experience and being able to understand technology concepts.
The candidate must be able to work from two sites: NYC and Warren, NJ as needed and be flexible about working hours (we are a global team)

Job Responsibilities:
*Manage Financials – ensure budgetary control by working with managers and with Fincon to update organization's forecast, review actuals and resolve discrepancies; participate in the annual budgeting process and workslate planning;
*Headcount Management: track and report headcount changes in various systems, monthly headcount reconciliation with source systems, maintain organizational charts and distribution lists. Coordinate approval process, recruiting and onboarding process of new hires.
*Project Coordination - track projects, update project milestones and deliverables via PTS-W system. Project reporting.
*Vendor Management: track vendor contracts and work with procurement on timely renewal of contracts including Consulting SOWs. Ensure invoices are paid and allocated correctly.
* Monitor, track and improve various operational processes for the organization (e.g. on-boarding, project reporting, optimization, etc.)
*Preparation of business & internal client presentations. Internal coordination for senior management presentation and reporting – data consolidation from various sources to arrive at the desired result.
* Manage Communication: distribute announcements to appropriately present the organization and its accomplishments. Preparation and distribution of announcements and messages to staff.
*Space Management: work with Corporate Real Estate

*Special Projects – help Chief of Staff and Department Head with execution of various internal projects and initiatives.
* Must have strong problem solving skills, ability to operate independently, ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.

Specifications / Qualifications
* BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
* 7 + years of relevant experience
* Proficiency with MS Word, Project, PowerPoint, Databases, and Excel is necessary, together with good basic business financials and technology operations.
* Familiarity with financial reporting tools would be particularly beneficial
* Excellent written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, as well as project-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
* Ability to work with all levels of management and workforce
* Exceptional general management and leadership skills, within a fast paced, business to business environment supplying technological solutions to the financial services industry.
* Outstanding relationship building and networking skills; comfortable managing expectations.
