Change Management Analyst (Automation) Job Description: On behalf of our client, TEKsystems is looking for a Change Management Analyst for a contract opening in southern New Jersey.
The Change Management Analyst primary responsibilities include: - Develop and maintain code to automate change management tasks working closely with Network Audit & Automation team - Support processing/automati on of Change Management team's day to day tasks including managing communications on CM queues, metrics collection, and closure of tickets - Develop and maintain documentation related to the tools and automation scripts
Minimum Qualifications:
. Two to four years experience with Remedy Ticketing System (REQUIRED) and understanding how it operates, who gets alerts, etc. . Two to four years experience with Brio (REQUIRED) . Three to five years experience with Perl shell scripting (Korn, Bash shell, Perl, etc.), TCL scripting (i.e., Expect), Web scripting (server or client), HTML, XML, PHP,java_script . Two to three years hands-on experience with software development in VBA, .Net and strong knowledge of relational database design and SQL or Oracle . Strong understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. . Should be familiar with the basic use of both Windows (NT, 2000) and UNIX (Solaris, Linux) Operating systems. . Good basic understanding of the Internet protocol suite (e.g. ARP, IP, TCP, DNS, SNMP, etc.). . Experience with various types of network equipment (routers, switches, hubs, servers, and CMTS) is a plus. . Any experience with the Operational Support System (OSS) applications, i.e., SevOne, Spectrum, Cramer, and VSM is a plus. . Experience in developing processes and procedures . Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational ability. . Excellent oral/written communication and inter-personal skills.
