Overview
We are seeking an Oracle Clinical Programmer/ Data Manager who will work
with Ad Hoc SAS Programmers, Integrated Review Administrator, OC DBA,
Manager, Database Administration and CRF designer to meet the needs of
various customers.

Responsibilities:
. Building and designing clinical studies in Oracle Clinical (OC) in
concert with Data Managers; use PL/SQL Programming to develop Ad Hoc
reports, OC procedure programming; OC study planning, design and
standardization.
. Work with the Integrated Review administrator to deploy Ad Hoc SQL
reports/SQL code to users via integrated review.
. Documentation, development and maintenance of the OC Global

. Interacting with external vendors concerning external data into
OC.
. External data loads, and troubleshooting data loads.
. OC lab setup including reference ranges, panic flags, unit
conversions and Normlab2.
. Maintenance and upkeep of study view descriptions and study view
templates including extended attributes.
. Contribute in refining current Database Administration process as
well as revamping and develop old/new processes to increase efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications and knowledge:
. Five or more years experience in Oracle Clinical, with at least
two years in a database programming capacity.
. In depth experience with Oracle Clinical database design, PL/SQL.
. Degree in life sciences, MIS, pharmacy or nursing; advanced degree
desirable.
. Formal or on the job training in clinical trial methodology and
Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
. Good organizational and project/time management skills.
. Team player who can interact effectively with the SAS
Programming,data management and clinical departments.
. Ability to listen and understand the customer's needs

Additional Desirable Qualifications:
. Oracle Clinical/TMS validation experience.
. Familiarity and working knowledge of Oracle Clinical/TMS

Level 2 Distributed Server duties include the following:
Incident management and escalation.
Troubleshoot core rules using defined run books to proactively ensure 100% system availability.
Support the following OS platforms:  Windows, UNIX, Linux, HP-UX, and AIX.
Server Patching/Software Deployment.
Support maintenance activities (network, storage, etc.).

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of systems experience, including 3 or more years of Server Operations experience in  complex large-scale IT environments. Has at least 5 years of solid technical expertise and experience as well as a proven track record in an operations environment in a complex systems environment including Distributed Computing (Windows/Unix) environments.

I am a frequent patron of the libraries in the county (the free WiFi is a big plus especially when searching online for opportunities) and I would propose the possibility of holding a WNO meeting at the auditorium in the lower level of the Will Library in Yonkers, NY on Central Avenue.

It appears that it could hold 80 plus people, although space might be limited for networking prior to the event, and afterwards. In addition, another potential setback would be the hours (the building itself closes at 9pm sharp).

We currently have a full time permanent opportunity for a
Solutions Architect at a major company in King of Prussia, PA. The specs
are as follows:
The Solutions Architect reports to the Chief Technology
Officer. The primary focus of this position is to partner with the company's
senior level account management teams and provide technical solutions for
client and prospect needs while maintaining the technical integrity of the
company enterprise. The Solutions Architect will directly participate in client
and prospect meetings. The Solutions Architect will be expected to interactively
come up with technical strategies that meet client needs and are consistent
with company platform capabilities. The Solutions Architect will be involved in
the estimation, planning, analysis, design, and implementation of the various
projects that result from these client interactions.
Technical Responsibilities
* Support client and prospect
meetings. Present current baseline technical capabilities of company's platform
to clients, and actively participate with defining technical approaches to solving
client's business needs.
* Produce system solutions and
architectural designs to meet identified business requirements. Solutions must
incorporate scalability, availability, security, and maintainability
characteristics. Risks, assumptions, and costs for solutions must be
articulated.
* Review and approve detailed
technical designs produced by technical leads on projects.
* Participate in code reviews.
* Mentor IT organization on
adherence to design and architecture guidelines.
* Identify, evaluate and formally
recommend third party software and technology packages and services as needed.
* Actively participate in the
implementation of pilots of new software applications and infrastructure.
* On occasion, assist in production
escalations and problem resolution.
Leadership Responsibilities
* Promote technical vision and sound
engineering principles among technology department staff members.
* Technically govern large scale
technical projects
* Propose changes in process,
policy, and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles
* Assist management in the
prioritization of infrastructure development projects.
* Actively participate in the
recruiting process.
* Identify training/conferences that
will assist in developing necessary skills for technical staff, as well as
promoting an understanding of the company's technical vision.
Qualifications:
* Technology
* Extensive experience building and
architecting high traffic internet sites serving 10-100 million+ requests per
day or similar high transaction volume distributed systems
* 5+ years development experience
with Java concentrating on server-side development
* Extensive experience implementing
complex system integrations utilizing messaging and HTTP
* Experience architecting
highly-available, failure resistant/tolerant internet scale systems
* Leadership - Ability to think
strategically. Ability to create and promote guiding development principles,
and influence prospects, clients, and business management in adopting
technically sound solutions to their business problems.
* Communication - Excellent written,
verbal, presentation, and process facilitation skills.
* Accessibility - Ability to work
with both business and technical representatives at all levels.
* Decision-Making - Ability to make
informed balanced decisions in a timely manner. Must be able to think on
his/her feet!
* Time Management - Ability to
manage many initiatives at the same time, and exercise judgment on the most
appropriate areas of focus.
* Business- A thorough understanding
how technology decisions impact the company's business as a whole.
* Travel - Must be willing to travel
up to 25% of the time.

Desired Qualifications
* Experience in developing
event-driven and service-oriented architectures
* Experience with web services,
specifically security and identity management
* Experience with various enterprise
messaging technologies
* Experience with Enterprise Service
Bus solutions
* Experience with Rich Internet
Application using AJAX/AHAH and Flash
* Experience building/integrating
with Web content management systems
* Experience in e-commerce.
* Experience with commercial supply
chain, trading partner, warehouse, logistics management, marketing, and/or
customer relationship management (CRM) software.
* Experience with Oracle, JDA,
Epiphany, Red Prairie, WebLogic
* We would like to see excellent
front end knowledge (markup, css, javascript) and good knowledge of content
management systems (movabletype, expression engine), social networks, mobile
apps, etc.

* Additional
Project Details:
The current team consists of 11 employees
The candidate must have experience with client
interaction
25 % will be directed towards client interaction
Deliverables:
Create "PAS" documents (Project
Architectural Specification)
Create estimates
Create Process documents
The employee will have sole responsibility for the
entire scope of project
Daily tasks and responsibilities be communicated by
Sr Management

Additional Candidate Requirements:

can be the lead architect and see the project through to completion.
