Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Enterprise Delivery Center group seeks a Lead who will be responsible
for managing a team of software developers implementing applications for our
Decision Support Systems consisting of Data Marts, Fixed Income Analytics
processing, and our Enterprise Business Intelligence suite of applications.

We are looking for an expert data warehouse professional to oversee
development and operations of the current data mart, ETL, and analytics
processing; while developing architectures and leading projects to implement
the next generation of data stores used for BI. In this senior role, the
person will lead a team of technical system professionals ensuring a
consistently high level of technical delivery across a strategic suite of
projects. The candidate must demonstrate a track record in the "state of
the art" technology domain including but not limited to architectures,
frameworks, products and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities;

The individual will:

1. Partner with systems professionals at all levels of the
organization to proactively manage opportunities for new/improved systems to
support the Decision Support Systems group
2. Architect and develop key components of a Business Intelligence
Competency Center using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and
other BI tools.
3. Design and implement the centralized Business Intelligence
application platform and framework for use by other teams in the
organization
4. Lead, mentor and develop a professional software development team
5. Apply rigorous management practices, provide architectural and
design expertise/guidance for the group
6. Work with report developers, data modelers and business analysts to
ensure the BI technical infrastructure meets the design and delivery needs
of the business projects
7. Work with our outsourcing service provider to oversee development
practices & enhancements to the current data mart and analytics processing
8. Stay current with evolving industry and technical trends to ensure
systems and team are of highest caliber
9. Manage and work across the Information Technology department
boundaries brokering, negotiating and facilitating common practices,
solutions and goals
Keys to This Position:
1. Seeking an expert Data Warehouse professional that is strong in the
following areas: Business Intelligence, Data Marts, Analytics Processing,
PL/SQL, ETL tools such as ODI and Data Stage.
2. Experience in implementing the Oracle Business Intelligence suite
is highly desirable. Experience working across multiple BI suites, such as
Oracle or Cognos is highly desirable.
3. Strong leadership experience is required. This individual will be
leading a team of two consultants and needs to possess strong skills in the
following areas: Project Planning and Code Review and Oversight. This
person will not be coding.
4. THIS POSITION IS MORE TECHNICAL THAN IT IS MANAGERIAL. WE NEED A

5. Experience in the financial services industry and an understanding

Required Skills and Competencies:

Specific requirements include:
· 7-10 years of software development experience
· 5-10 years of experience in the Business Intelligence / Data
Warehouse field, preferably with a strong focus on Oracle databases
· 3-5 years of experience with ETL tools such as ODI, DataStage,
Syncsort, PL/SQL
· Strong data modeling and data architecture skills with
demonstrated experience using industry standard data warehouse design
methodologies
· Strong practioner skills relative to implementation and support of

This individual will be responsible for leading development teams that
support Reference Data, which includes the Security Master (CSM) and Pricing
related applications. In this role, this individual assists project manager

The individual will be leading the system design and analysis for
development projects in the End-Of-day Pricing Application in the Investment
Data Systems team. In this role the individual will work with the project
managers, business analysts and lead programmers to define technical
