Job Description A major Bank Holding Company is looking for a Core Java Developer in their New York City office. The Broker-Dealer Of the Holding Company provides external hedge fund clients and investment managers with front-to-back technology Solution supporting their investment strategy throughout the entire investment cycle. The Prime Brokerage technology Team is responsible for the design and development of infrastructure, tools and technology to deliver custody, portfolio Accounting, performance, risk and margin reporting to hedge fund clients globally. The team is responsible for client Systems integration with the prime brokerage platform.
Responsibilities: Work as part of the Global Prime Brokerage technology team. Development on cutting edge core trades processing platform.
Skills Required 5+ years of experience developing applications using core Java programming. Relational database development skills required, Sybase or DB2 experience preferred. Familiarity with UNIX operating platform. Strong and clear communication skills. Personal organization and task management. Attention to detail.
Salary Range This is a 6 month assignment and the daily rate will be base on experience.
