[itroundtable] LEAD: AVP Collateral BA - NJ - Foreign Bank

Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Collateral Business Analyst for their Jersey City Office.

Department Overview

The Exposure Manager application manages collateral for the Bank's Capital OTC Derivatives business globally

And also supports fhe Global Netting pr9oduct for the front office. This market-leading solution optimises margin

And increase capital efficiency for hedge funds trading, performing a portfolio-wide margin calculation reflecting

Cross-netted risk.

To support the Client Clearing initiative, the margin infrastructure needs to be expanded to support new margin

Calculations, in line with regulated and Exchange based rules, and new margin processes.

Main Duties

Creatiion of business requirements and functional specifications for margin calculators, including exchange based

Margin methodology to be implemented, interfaces to trading and exposure management systems, as well as

Risk and calculator data requirements.

Production of or participation in the creation of project deliverables including process flows and test cycles.

Skills Required Experience in liasing with different business and technology groups to understand requirements and create

Functional specifications.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Strong analytical capabilities.

Pro-active, goal and results driven approach to work.

Good data analysis and query writing (SQL0 skills needed.

Prior business experience with Margin and Collateral/Derivative Products/Clearing Operations/Risk Management.

Salary Range This is a full time position for an Assistant Vice President and the salary is based on experience.
