Manager requires great communications (verbal as well as written), smart
and prefers very good or better schools.
simple requirement:

MUST HAVE current EXPERIENCE as a developer WITH MORTGAGE MATH
This is much more a developer than a quant.
Will be working with the quants, operations managers and portfolio

(CDOs, CMOs, CSOs, etc)
No relocation

Position: Based in Mahwah, NJ with global Consumer Electronics Company reporting to Global CIO
Role:
1. Develop portfolio and project management approach to manage global IT projects and developments using structured PM methodology.
2. Introduce project management office with appropriate documentation and procedures and work with regional management to define IT projects based on current IT roadmap.
3. Take charge of ongoing projects and work with regional IT personnel to ensure structured PM approach is followed.
4. Define business case and project requirements and definition for all new global IT application and infrastructure initiatives.
5. Execute implementation of appropriate PM tools to manage resource allocation, project costs and reporting on a global basis.
6. Work with IT operations personnel to execute major ERP migrations within regions to standardize and streamline application roadmap.
7. Develop tools and techniques for ongoing process improvement initiatives and introduce six sigma initiatives using DMAIC & DFSS frameworks. Identify improvement opportunities and develop team based approach to executing attractive opportunities on a global basis.
8. Train and develop personnel to adopt PM and Six Sigma approaches across the organization with particular emphasis on global standardization.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Prior experience leading a PMO in a global organization with IT project focus with a record of successful project execution on a global scale.
2. Experience with major ERP' implementation or consolidation/ development/ reorganization of existing ERP. Familiarity with ERPs such as SAP/JDE would be a definite plus.
3. A record of executing on Six Sigma improvement initiatives with documented results.
4. A certified project management professional from the PMI. A black belt in six sigma would be preferred. Must have used project management tools such as MS Project Server or SAP's Project Management.
5. Must have good presentation and communication skills. Experience in a consulting organization may be an advantage. Should have the ability to build projects from initiation including defining and developing business case through to execution and closure.
6. A minimum of 10 years industry experience is required. While consumer packaged goods is useful, it is not required. Global exposure essential.
7. Bachelor's degree is a must and a graduate degree is preferred.
Remuneration:
Salary: $150K + benefits + bonus potential
Local Candidates preferred. Some travel required.

Contrary to popularly held assumptions, it turns out that over the past decade or so, the highest rate of entrepreneurial activity belongs to the 55-64 age group. The 20-34 age bracket, meanwhile, which we usually identify with swashbuckling and risk-taking youth (think Facebook and Google), has the lowest rate.
