Associate Manager Consumer Marketing Insight
$95k + 7-17% bonus; minimal relo avail to renter
Global CPG Manufacturer – Northern, NJ
Must be US Citizen, Green Card or PR Holder
Car required – no public transportation

This position is responsible for driving the continual discovery of consumer and market insight to guide brand strategy, brand communication, innovation and other marketing initiatives. The position supports both local brands as well as a powerful, global category leader brand. There are significant opportunities for development and preparation for a CMI Manager position.

Position responsibilities include:

Leading CMI efforts on multiple projects
- Determines optimal research plan and method
- Conducts and co-ordinates the project with the research supplier
- Manages projects within agreed budgets
- Interprets and communicates/presents key insights and recommendations
Bringing the consumer to life for the entire team
-Examples include organizing consumer connects, consumer panels
Maintaining accurate budgets and associated records for the projects under his / her leadership
Maintaining working knowledge of consumer trends and, with team, monitoring competitive activity
Analyzing Market Information and providing actionable insights
Becoming an indispensable partner with marketing managers in identifying strategic growth opportunities.
Inspires research suppliers to consistently deliver their best efforts, deliver actionable, clear, value-added understanding and recommendations.

•CMI colleagues – global and local, BB/BD/Multicultural/Shopper/Consumer Futures
•Research supplier partners
•Advertising Agency planners

The ideal candidate will have:
•Desire to work on a fast-paced, global and growing brand in a lead category
•3+ Years of Market Research experience
•Tactical experience in managing quantitative and qualitative research, including the ability to liaise with suppliers as partners, while still demanding excellence
•Examples of breakthrough thinking in the areas of insight, market research or business opportunities
•Demonstrated team commitment

Must satisfactorily pass criminal background investigation and drug screening.
