Job Description: This position will report to the VP, Finance for CBS Television Stations in serving as the primary day-to-day manager of the financial resources and reporting to WCBS-TV, with the financial staff at WCBS-TV reporting to this position.  Will work with the station's department heads to implement CBS TV Stations policy and procedures and develop the station's forecasts and budgets.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee staff in performing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed asset functions.
* Help supervise and complete monthly accounting close, including preparation or review of numerous journal entries, analytical reports and account reconciliations.  Maintain balance sheet analysis on an ongoing basis.
* Assist VP, Finance, CTS in developing annual station budgets and in ongoing monthly and quarterly forecasts.
* Help implement and enforce compliance with policies and procedures as documented in the CBS policy manuals and other corporate communications, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.  Coordinate and perform quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
* Supervise accounts payable process, including invoice review for coding, purchase order compliance and expense reasonableness as compared to forecast.
* Perform various project profitability analyses, annual account analysis for tax department, and other ad-hoc research and analysis as assigned.
* Service as key station finance contact for station management, Division Finance and internal/external auditors.

. Position is for a Project Manager to lead a number of large -
medium size projects in the Cash Equity Middle and Back Office space. All
projects have a strong operational background and will almost in all cases
require some Technology changes.

. The candidate must be familiar with structured project management
techniques (e.g. PMI). It will be expected that a project manager is
responsible for planning, execution and delivery of an assigned project
including all reporting and stakeholder communication.

. The candidate must be in a position to quickly build strong
relationships with stakeholders across GEBS, Technology, Compliance and the
Front Office.

* The role also requires provision of project management oversight for
junior project managers working in Cash Equity space.

Essential Skills

* An in-depth knowledge of structured project management methodologies
(e.g. PMI)
* Excellent understanding of the all aspects of project management
including planning, time-, quality- & cost management as well risk- and
issue management
* Proven ability to parallel manage small number of process and
technology centric projects across all the phases of a project lifecycle
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the
organization including senior business sponsors and key service providers
(both IT and business).
* Ability to provide accurate and timely project status reporting
* Ability to quickly build strong relationships with stakeholders
across GEBS, Technology, Compliance and the Front Office
* Good understanding of middle and back office functions
* Ability to present in a clear, concise and relevant manner.
* A proven track record of working within financial sector.

Preferable Skills

* A proven track record of working within a project management roll in
the Investment Banking sector

Education

. Educated to degree level.

Company Overview:

Corporation owns and operates the world's largest, transaction-level, shopper-data warehouse- powering media networks to intelligently connect CPG, health care, and retailer marketers with specific audiences. .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for conducting quantitative analyses of the impact of previous Marketing events as well as for identifying future opportunities to leverage the Corporation network.

* Utilize Corporation's available data and information systems platform to extract, compile and summarize consumer based purchase data.
* Apply quantitative, statistical methods to the analysis of consumer based purchase data.
* Partner with the Analytic Director to define the scope and objectives of specific, ad hoc, client based analyses.
* Support the development of new analytical approaches and new analytical products as well as help to identify new applications of Corporation's internal data

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

* Intermediate to advanced use of at least one statistical software package (SAS, SPSS, STATA). Experience using SAS highly preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience using statistical software packages in a quantitative, analytical capacity.
* Ability to demonstrate a command of quantitative methods and statistical applications.
* Ability to rapidly develop sufficient familiarity with proprietary data systems and IT infrastructure to extract data needed to support quantitative research projects.
* BA/BS with significant coursework in quantitative methods.
* Experience in a CPG environment helpful but not required.
* Experience with IRI or ACNielsen data helpful but not required.
