Information Technology Manager
Longwood Gardens, the world's premier horticultural display located in Kennett Square, PA, is searching for an Information Technology (IT) Manager, who will lead the team responsible for strategy, implementation and support of our core technology infrastructure. This individual will partner with the management team and align IT with the strategic direction of the organization. Candidate must have broad and solid technical knowledge while being able to demonstrate success in providing support that meets the business needs of the organization.
In addition to strong leadership, this individual must be able to provide hands-on expertise with enterprise communications, network and software development and support to ensure the security, stability and proper functioning of IT systems. Strong understanding of structured development methodologies, quality assurance, and production support in a Microsoft centric environment focused in .Net, IIS, SQL Server, Oracle and other leading edge technologies on a primarily Dell hardware platform.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, in addition to seven to ten years of progressive experience in leadership roles in developing enterprise software and hardware solutions. Technical certifications are a plus. This individual must have excellent communication and customer services skills, and the ability to interpret and deliver enterprise solutions in support of developing organizational needs.
