Hi Mahrokh,

I am sure you are enjoying this beautiful weekend!! I am reaching out for the purposes of networking with you!! I am looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a role I am working on located right in mid town. It is with a retailer that has done extremely well despite the economy and is contuing to grow!

My client is looking to build a team of internal consultants who have a solid understanding of the Retail space including Planning, Buying, Supply Chain, and Merchandising. This person needs to have excellent business process knowldege and be able to build credibility with the business. They will gather business requirements, work across the business, have change management and process experience as well.

Here is a bit more about the role:

Coordinating the efforts of internal and external technical staff, and of key users in the support of existing production systems and in the execution of new system project
Developing detail project plans covering the entire systems development life cycle, and associated project budgets
Performing business analysis activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level; working with key users in the continual improvement of business processes within the merchandising, planning, and/or allocations areas
Collaborating with management to ensure timely and successful issue resolution
Managing projects throughout the entire systems development life cycle (including creating timely/thorough status reports and leading status meetings) – ensuring that:

Requirements are defined accurately
Systems are designed/coded or purchased that meet the defined requirements, and that execute efficiently
Test plans and training plans are designed and executed successfully
All required system and user documentation is created accurately
Projects are completed on time and under budget
Anticipated business benefits are achieved
Supporting existing production systems

Defining and prioritizing system problems and enhancement requests; analyzing to identify and address root causes
Coordinating related support and development activities (whether they be internal or external)
Ensuring the related fixes and/or enhancements are tested successfully (by IT and by key users)
Ensuring users receive appropriate training and existing documentation is updated accurately
Ensuring all support activities are executed on time and under budget
Taking a leadership role in exploring and analyzing new application functions and technologies
