Team focuses on services to financial services organizations that address: bank holding company inspection requirements, bank supervisory standards, retail bank compliance, and bank regulatory reporting requirements. 

Responsibilities 

Advise clients on a variety of regulatory advisory services that help meet bank holding company and banking compliance requirements. 

Research emerging trends, regulatory guidance, and best practices. 

Critically analyze policies, procedures, people, processes, and systems used by financial institutions to meet bank regulatory requirements and expectations. 

Design and implement quality, practical business approaches. 

To qualify, candidates must have: 

a bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience 
a degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or a related discipline; MBA or MS preferred 
a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience with federal banking agency (Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Office of Thrift Supervision) 
knowledge of accounting, regulatory reporting and/or regulatory reporting software packages, as well as bank compliance practices 
experience with the design, development and implementation of internal controls for financial services business processes a plus 
strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations 
analytical skills; specifically, the ability to assess and decompose financial services industry processes utilizing a risk and control focus 
effective leadership, project management and teamwork skills 
prior experience in consulting preferred

Our client, one of the nation's premiere business services organizations, is seeking a developer with strong experience in Oracle/PLSQL, UNIX, RPG and DB2.  This Individual will help migrate existing applications from an AS400 platorm to a UNIX based platform. 
Requirements:
* Must have very strong Oracle & PL/SQL Skills on a UNIX platform
* Must have a strong understanding of RPG programming
* Should have strong experience with AS/400, DB2, CL/400, RPG400

Required Skills/Experience  (must have)

 

Minimum of 5 years experience required in the Server Support, Win2003, 2008, (additionally should be able to provide first level support for Linux, HP Unix OS), server infrastructure, SMS, server maintenance/LAN administration;
Excellent skills required in: troubleshooting and problem resolution; interacting with customers on the telephone; verbal and written communications; teamwork; root cause analysis.

Assignment

 

NOTE: This is for a Midnight  to 9am Shift, Monday thru Friday. Additional shift work may be required

The team is responsible for the server administration for all corporate servers  and supported site server rooms, and as such, be responsible for ensuring the reliability of all servers and related equipment.

Detail of Responsibilities:

. Maintain server and storage equipment and interface with vendors such as ERGO (all server hardware support), HP and IBM
. Performs administrative duties such as entering time sheets, updating task status in Magic on a daily/monthly timetable.
. Escalates problems to expert personnel in appropriate time frame.
. Manage storage array performance and conduct capacity planning
. Researches, diagnoses, and determines root cause of server problems
. Remote troubleshooting during night shift of all servers from the Network Operations Center
. Security Patching Support
. Assist Regional teams with scheduled tasks for Wintel, Unix, Linux servers
. Provide support / analysis as part of the NOC team.
. Assist Computer Operations with Server backup troubleshooting (Backup Exec 12.5)
. Physical Server / SAN / Infrastructure work at 4 IP
. Routine administration / maintenance of assigned (approx 100) servers
