Position: Senior Project Manager
Target Start Date: ASAP
Level: Senior (12+ years of experience)
Duration: 6 months (with possible extensions)

Candidate must have extensive experience leading projects with budgets of at
least $10MM in capital spend and with duration of at least 12+ months

The senior project manager will be responsible for leading and managing the
deliverables and team within IT directly responsible for the administration
platform. They will coordinate and facilitate all activity within IT and
work in conjunction with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the
administration platform. This person will work very closely with the Program
manager to ensure successful delivery of the overall program.

Every aspect of this project that impacts administration platform will need
to be managed including stakeholders, budget, scope, scheduling, resource
planning, requirements gathering, solution definition, system setup and
monitoring after go live, risks/issues planning, prioritization of sub
projects under the program, identifying dependencies, roles identification,
and communication. It is expected that the candidate will be a savvy leader
and have the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and all phases
of the project.

Qualifications:

. At least 12+ solid and concurrent years as a senior IT project
manager/program manager leading major strategic programs within financial
services industry. Annuities background is ideal but not required.

. Passion for leading and managing major change programs - career
minded and oriented to this role

. Strong track record of leading successful major change program
delivery from start to finish as the lead IT Project Manager

. Ability to think strategically (big picture) and tactically in
regards to project planning, scoping, budgeting, and quality. This in terms
of the admin deliverables and working in conjunction with the Pru Inside

. Program Manager on the overall program

. Responsible for leading projects with budgets of at least $10MM in
capital spend and with duration of at least 12+ months

. Has worked within an IT PMO - has understanding and appreciation
of processes/procedures and governance required to lead large programs

. Leading large teams in a matrix environment consisting of various
types of roles and skill sets

. Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings in an effective
manner

. Ability to deal with tight timelines, limited resources and still
deliver on time and within scope

. Ability to lead several projects at once that have a common
strategic goal

. Formal training in project management methodology is required

. PMI PMP Certified

. Ability to clearly articulate issues/challenges/risks in a clear
and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels

. Flexible leadership style

. Extremely detail oriented

. Excellent Communicator - verbal, written and presentation skills

. Persistence, dedication, and ability to lead multiple projects at
the same time

. Excellent people management skills

. Strong influence and team building skills in a matrix environment

. Ability to resolve conflict while keeping relationships intact

. Keen ability to lead cross functional teams in a matrix
environment.

Technical Skills Required:

Job Description
v  Responsible for managing, organizing, and coordinating the activities of
Manufacturing Engineering, Fixture Design, Maintenance, Quality, and Tool & Die
departments to facilitate the achievement of manufacturing goals and ensure
continuous production improvements. 

v  Includes planning, organizing, and directing TVM cost improvements, Six-Sigma
process improvements, and Lean Manufacturing implementation.
 
Required Skills
         Experience in maintenance and quality programs preferred. 
         Experience in Lean manufacturing, TPM, and Kaizen required.
         Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable.
         Strong customer interface skills required (written and oral).
         Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point
and Microsoft Project.
 
Required Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering required.
 
v  Minimum of 10 years engineering work experience in the "High Volume"
automotive industry.
v  Six-Sigma process improvements and Lean Manufacturing implementation.
v  Metal or Metal Bending is preferred.
